| "Believe me, again the Lord was watching over us. The entire staff at King Mountain treated us like royalty. We spent a great share of our time at the barn with Randy, Chris and Stacy. Stacy patiently spent hours with us in the arena, teaching us to handle several different horses, providing groundwork instruction and answering all our hundreds of questions. We were invited to help groom the horses for trail rides, and each day we saddled our own horse. The manager kept up with us and made sure that we had everything we wanted. Our room with a king bed and huge fireplace, coffee maker, and lots of hot water was a pleasure to come back to in the evening after a couple of hours over a scrumptious dinner and "elk watch" with our new friends, Chuck and Amy. Yes, each evening we watched a herd of elk come down the mountain to feed! We were even fortunate enough to observe a moose on one of our trail rides with Stacy. |
