King Mountain Ranch Resort is a Dude/Guest Ranch located high in the Colorado Rockies completely surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest.   Select from many great activities including horseback riding, fly fishing, sport shooting, an exceptional children's program, indoor heated pool, cookouts and evening entertainment. All activities are offered in a casual western setting which allows your family, group, or corporate retreat to set the pace of your own vacation.

At KMR you can Stay for 3-7 days, Your choice!

 

Unlike most Dude/Guest ranches, we allow guests to come and stay with us for anywhere from 3 to 7 days.  We do suggest that you stay for at least 5 days in order to fully appreciate all we have to offer, but we understand that may not be possible for everyone.  Why wait?  Book now.   We ask you to arrive on Sunday or Thursday, if at all possible.

  
New Rifle Range
We are installing a new cowboy action rifle range for our 2007 summer season. We have a variety of different targets to shoot at from both a beginner and an advanced station. Come test your skills and see if you can set a new marksmanship record. We are offering a prize for a perfect score.

KMR goes wireless for 2007
OK so we have broken down some what, and we have installed a wireless network for you to check your email or get the latest scores. Now we still feel very strongly that laptops and email should not be part of a vacation, but we also understand that being entirely out of touch is a scary proposition for some of you. Our wireless network is accessible from most of our rooms in the Haystack Lodge and we ask that you use it sparingly; you are supposed to be on vacation.
